Around the Leagues: September 12-15

We take a look at how internationals for Wales' men's team got on in rugby league divisions across the world in our latest Around the Leagues report.

Ben Flower made his comeback from injury from the interchange bench in Wigan Warriors' 26-8 victory over Castleford Tigers.

Current Wales captain Elliot Kear, Rhys Williams and Matty Fozard all featured for London Broncos as a 19-10 defeat at Wakefield Trinity meant they were relegated from Super League. Former Wales skipper Craig Kopczak, who has now retired from international rugby league, started for Wakefield.

Chester Butler made his Super League debut for Huddersfield Giants in their 24-22 win over Catalans Dragons.

Regan Grace, scoring a try, and Morgan Knowles both starred in St Helens' 22-6 success at Hull FC. Knowles was also recently announced in the Super League Dream Team for his performances in 2019.

In the Championship play-offs, meanwhile, Ben Evans came off the bench for Toulouse Olympique as they beat York City Knights 44-6.

Sean Penkywicz, grabbing a brace, and Sam Hopkins were in Workington Town's line-up for their 32-24 win at Hunslet in the League 1 play-offs.

Over in Australia, James Olds started for West Brisbane Panthers in their 40-16 loss to Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the Brisbane Premiership play-offs.
