Around the Leagues: June 14-16

We continue our usual Around the Leagues report, taking a look at how senior Wales internationals have been getting on with their club sides.

In Super League, Morgan Knowles started for St Helens in their 38-2 victory over Huddersfield Giants.

Gil Dudson featured for Salford Red Devils in their 44-20 win over Wakefield Trinity.

Wales captain Elliot Kear, Rhys Williams and Matty Fozard all had run-outs for London Broncos in their 30-12 success over Catalans Dragons in Perignan. Kear, making his 250th career appearance, and Rhys Williams grabbed a try and brace respectively. 

In the Championship, meanwhile, Dan Fleming started at prop for Halifax in their 21-8 defeat at Barrow Raiders.

Mike Butt, Rhodri Lloyd and Gavin Bennion all starred for Swinton Lions in their 20-18 victory at Toulouse Olympique, who named Ben Evans on the bench. Lloyd also crossed for a first-half try.

Dalton Grant was on the wing for John Kear's Bradford Bulls in their 52-20 loss at Leigh Centurions.

In League 1, Steve Parry, Morgan Evans, Ashley Bateman and Chris Vitalini were in West Wales Raiders' side for their 51-6 defeat at London Skolars. Liam Rice-Wilson, who was part of the senior Wales squad for last autumn's internationals, also featured for the Raiders.

Calvin Wellington bagged a try for Workington Town in their 54-16 win over Coventry Bears.

Over in Australia, Josh Ralph was an interchange for Easts Tigers in their 22-10 Queensland Cup victory over Mackay Cutters. 

James Olds scored a try and kicked seven goals for West Brisbane Panthers in their 47-10 success over Valley Diehards in the top-of-the-table Brisbane Premiership clash. 

Former Wales international Tyson Frizell, who has now switched to play for home country Australia, started at loose forward for St George Illawarra Dragons in their 34-14 loss to Manly Sea Eagles in the NRL.
