Around the Leagues: February 28-March 3

We take a look at how senior Wales internationals have been getting on with their clubs in our latest Around the Leagues report.

In Super League, former Wales captain Craig Kopczak, who retired from international rugby league following the 2017 World Cup, came off the bench for Wakefield Trinity in their 35-18 victory at Leeds Rhinos.

Current captain Elliot Kear, Rhys Williams and Matty Fozzard all starred for London Broncos in their 18-16 win over Super League holders Wigan Warriors.

Morgan Knowles and Regan Grace, crossing for a try, both started for St Helens in their 26-4 success at Salford Red Devils, who started Gil Dudson at prop.

In the Championship, meanwhile, Dan Fleming featured for Halifax in their 18-16 win over Swinton Lions, who named Mike Butt and Gavin Bennion in their side. Butt also grabbed a try.

Matt James was in Sheffield Eagles' squad for the 44-16 victory over Batley Bulldogs.

Twins Ben and Rhys Evans came head-to-head as they featured for Toulouse Olympique XIII and Bradford Bulls respectively, with Ben coming out on top as the Frenchmen clinched a 14-0 success.

In League 1, Ashley Bateman started for West Wales Raiders in their 58-4 defeat at Hunslet. Liam Rice-Wilson, who was part of John Kear's squad for last autumn's European Championship and World Cup qualifiers, also featured for the Raiders.

Elliott Jenkins and Rob Massam both starred for North Wales Crusaders in their narrow 16-14 defeat to Oldham. Jenkins recently joined Crusaders on loan from Rochdale Hornets.
