In the Championship, Andy Bracek, Gavin Bennion and Rhodri Lloyd all played for Swinton Lions in their 32-18 defeat at Featherstone Rovers.

Rhys Evans featured on the wing for Leigh, scoring a try, and Larne Patrick was named on the bench in the Centurions’ 38-18 defeat at Halifax, who brought a Welsh prospect for the future, Sion Jones, off the bench.

On his 100th appearance for London Broncos, Rhys Williams bagged two tries in his side’s 68-12 hammering of Batley Bulldogs.

Rob Massam also scored two for Rochdale Hornets in their 24-12 win over Barrow Raiders.

Elsewhere, Matty Fozard and Matt James, who crossed for a try, started for Sheffield Eagles in their 44-10 defeat to Toronto Wolfpack.

In League 1, Dalton Grant started on the wing and scored a try in Bradford Bulls' 54-6 win at Keighley Cougars.

For West Wales Raiders, Steve Parry played in the halves, grabbing a try, and Morgan Evans was at loose forward in their 74-6 defeat at Workington Town.

A number of other players who have represented Wales at different levels, such as Karlin Claridge, Macauley Harris, Harry Boots and Archie Snook, also turned out for the Raiders.

Over in Australia, Josh Ralph started at stand-off for his new club Easts Tigers in their 15-14 defeat to Central Queensland Capras on the opening weekend of the Intrust Super League.
