Cobi Green started off in rugby union, turning out at Treorchy, Tonyrefail and Cardiff Blues at junior level. He began playing rugby league for Treorchy Comprehensive in the Champion Schools competition and at aged 14, he had an idea to form a junior side that he called Rhondda Outlaws. After playing for this side at under 16 level, he was soon picked up by the South Wales Scorpions academy where he played at under 16, 18 and development level before making his debut in June 2017. He made four appearances, scoring one try, before moving to Bradford Bulls for 2018. During that time, he also played for Valley Cougars and helped them to the 2017 Welsh Premier League title. In addition to being on Bradford's books, he is also now playing for Leeds Beckett University. A Wales under 16, 18 and student international, this will be his second Australia visit in less than 12 months having played in last year's Student World Cup.
