Another big weekend of matches in Wales

Both of Wales' semi-professional clubs have home games this weekend, whilst there are a selection of domestic matches to enjoy too.

West Wales Raiders host London Skolars at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) with the Raiders hoping to build on their positive first half performance against Whitehaven last week.

Once again, they'll hope that Welsh international hooker Connor Farrer passes his cog test to be able to claim his 100th professional appearance.

In the Premier League, Cardiff Blue Dragons travel to Pyle to face Bridgend Blue Bulls but the game of the day sees Rhondda Outlaws host Torfaen Tigers at Sardis Road (both kick off at 2.30pm).

The Outlaws claimed a tough win at Cardiff Athletic on Wednesday so will want to build on that and secure a home win to move them closer to the league's top two.

Outlaws' coach James Allen said: "We're just looking to improve on Wednesday's game. The defence was better but we still conceded more points than we would have liked. Our attack is improving week by week but defending against a big side like Torfaen is where we need to be strong."

Tigers' coach Matt Cummins said: "The boys are really excited to get back on the field after a week off. We're looking forward to taking on the Outlaws who are having a great season and will be very tough to beat at home. It should be a great game."

Also on Saturday, North Wales Crusaders A travel to Littleborough with the first team hosting Hunslet on Sunday at Queensway in Wrexham (kick-off 2.30pm).

Both Crusaders and Raiders are offering free entry for NHS staff, emergency services and armed forces workers with this Saturday being Armed Forces day.

There are two junior double headers in South Wales on Sunday with Torfaen Tigers v Llanelli Knights and Aber Valley Wolves v Bridgend Blue Bulls taking place at both under 13 and under 15 levels.
