Around the Leagues: April 19-22

In the latest instalment of Around the Leagues, national team media manager Ryan Gould looks at how Wales internationals and future prospects got on with their clubs in the recent round of fixtures...

On Friday night, Wales skipper Craig Kopczak was an interchange for Salford Red Devils in their 38-4 win over Wakefield Trinity. 

Regan Grace started on the left wing and grabbed a try for St Helens in their 66-4 victory at home to Huddersfield Giants. 

Morgan Knowles, meanwhile, was named in the second row for Saints. 

Ben Flower featured for Wigan Warriors in their 28-12 success against Castleford Tigers. 

In the Challenge Cup, Lloyd White scored a try for Widnes Vikings on his return to action against Coventry Bears. 

Coventry, on the other hand, named internationals Paul Emanuelli and James Geurtjens in their side.

Rhys Gant, Zak Williams and Liam Rice-Wilson, who have all represented Wales below first-team level, also featured.

Dalton Grant played the full 80 minutes on the wing for Bradford Bulls in their 54-6 defeat at Super League outfit Warrington Wolves.

Three internationals - Elliot Kear, Michael Channing and Rhys Williams - were given run-outs by London Broncos against Leigh Centurions. 

Jake Emmitt and Sam Hopkins both started for Toronto Wolfpack in their narrow 16-12 victory at Barrow Raiders. 

Lewis Reece was an interchange for Whitehaven in their 38-0 win over Rochdale Hornets. 

Chester Butler started for Halifax and scored two tries against Dewsbury Rams in the Championship, while Dan Fleming was named on the bench for 'Fax.

In League 1, Ben Morris was in the second row for his loan club Keighley Cougars, who won 34-14 at Newcastle Thunder.

Caleb Aekins, who was named in John Kear's train-on squad for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, started at fullback for Penrith Panthers in their 16-14 defeat to Wentworthville in the Intrust Super Premiership (New South Wales).

Ollie Olds featured in the halves for Easts Tigers in their 24-12 defeat at Tweed Heads Seagulls in the Intrust Super Cup (Queensland).
