Preview: Crusaders face Featherstone in fourth round of Challenge Cup

North Wales Crusaders will host Championship club Featherstone Rovers in the fourth round of the Challenge Cup at Queensway Stadium on Sunday (2.30pm kick-off).

Mike Grady's side are Wales' only remaining representatives in rugby league's premier cup competition.

They produced a stunning second-half comeback, having trailed 24-0 at half-time, to knock out Keighley Cougars in the third round.

North Wales' reward is a tie against Featherstone Rovers, who have won five of their six matches in the Championship this season.

"We’re realistic and realise the scale of the challenge that faces us on Sunday, but the pressure is on Featherstone so we’ll just be looking to go out and put in a strong performance," Crusaders boss Mike Grady told Crusaders' website.

"In a cup competition, anything can happen. We know what we are capable of and all the lads are really looking forward to testing ourselves against a top-end Championship side."

In their last outing, Crusaders were beaten 26-10 at Hunslet, leaving them with one point from their opening two League 1 fixtures.

They were missing a number of regulars at Hunslet due to injuries and unavailability, but several players are expected to return on Sunday.

Tickets for North Wales' clash with Featherstone can be bought at the gate and are priced at £15 for adults, £7 for concessions and £3 for U16s.
