Wales Under 18s Trials and Training Announced

Wales Rugby League are pleased to announce their upcoming 2017 under 18s programme.

Starting on Sunday 3rd September, the coaching staff will hold an open trial / training session for interested players at Cardiff Met University from 2-5pm on the new 3G.

A 22-man squad will then be selected for an all-day training the following Sunday, 10th September.

This programme will culminate with a game against England Under 18s on Saturday 16th of September, 2pm at Cardiff Met University, Cardiff.

Players must be under the age of 18 of the 1st of September 2016 (born between 31st August 1998 and 1st September 2000) to be eligible to play and be of Welsh heritage (born in Wales, have a Welsh parent or grandparent).

All players must be available for ALL THREE dates above, including the trial, training day and match day.

The Under 18s programme is shorted this year to make way for an exciting development, an Under 19s European tournament in Serbia in 2018.  All players eligible for Wales Under 18s will be eligible for this tournament next Summer.
