Ironmen join the Beach Party

Ironmen join the Beach Party

South Wales Ironmen are set to join the upcoming Beach Rugby Wales festival as the representative side of Wales Rugby League and Beach Rugby Wales.

 

The Ironmen reserves, coached by former Wales International Paul Emanuelli, are set to take to the sand on Saturday the 22nd of July in Swansea Bay.

 

Ashleigh Walters, founder of Beach Rugby Wales is delighted with the entry:

 

“We spoke to Idris at Wales Rugby League as we wanted a prestigious rugby league team to enter and represent both organisations.  When we found out the Ironmen were keen we were over the moon and can’t wait to see the boys take to the sand.”

 

Marc Lovering, Director at the Ironmen added:

 

“This falls in great with us as the festival is towards the end of the season and will give us a chance to reward the players for all their hard work throughout the season.

 

“To be asked to represent both Wales Rugby League and Beach Rugby Wales is a great opportunity for us as a club to spread our wings wider and engage with the people of Swansea and the surrounding areas.”

 

Beach Rugby Wales takes place on Saturday the 22nd of July on the beach at Swansea Bay.  To get involved and enter a team please register HERE.
