Wales take on North West England in Llanelli

Wales under 16s are looking to bounce back from Wednesday's 38-16 loss away at West Hull when they have another tough game, hosting North West England Lionhearts at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli (kick-off 4pm).

Wales under 16s are looking to bounce back from Wednesday's 38-16 loss away at West Hull when they have another tough game, hosting North West England Lionhearts at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli (kick-off 4pm).

Despite the defeat, the Welsh youngsters had a day to remember, as they were hosted by Super League side, Hull FC for a behind the scenes tour of the stadium where the boys had a taste of how the full-time professional players prepare on a match day.

The Wales under 16’s staff would like to thank everyone who has been a part of the squad and would like to state that it was a very tough decision in selecting for this fixture as everyone involved has played their part during the programme so far.

This is the first of two capped games this year for the Wales under 16s, so players who haven’t been selected shouldn't be disheartened as there is another fixture, an away game against Ireland, still to work hard for.
